TOS Trips and Tours
The Texas Ornithological Society sponsors trips and tours for our members and for those who need to join! Birding opportunities include:
- Our two semi-annual meetings, which are held in various parts of Texas in winter and spring, include daily field trips with knowledgeable trip leaders, educational programs in the evenings, and the opportunity to meet and network with other people interested in all things birdy.
- Weekenders, which are held several times a year in different regions of the state, begin with an evening of classroom instruction, followed by two days of field trips to put the knowledge to use.
- Tours hosted by expert guides to other regions of North and Central America are open to our membership. You can visit places such as Alaska, Minnesota, Panama, Costa Rica, Arizona and other areas.
We hope you will take advantage of the travel that we offer as a benefit of membership in the organization.
