Bulletin of the Texas Ornithological Society is an annual journal that publishes research reports and short communications in the field of ornithology. Articles cover a wide range of topics including interpretations of laboratory and field studies, historical perspectives on Texas ornithology and developments in theory and methodology.

Occasional publications include technical papers and seasonal bird lists and are issued from time to time as data and writings are available.

SEASONAL REPORTS
In the spring of 2004, the TOS Executive Board decided to publish the unabridged seasonal reports prepared for North American Birds magazine. Each issue of the magazine includes articles on rare bird trends, articles on specific rarities such as first North American records and a rare bird photo gallery.
