Century Club
The TOS Century Club is a fun competition to encourage you to get out and explore the great state of Texas and discover the diversity in each county!
Texas has 254 counties, and the goal of Century Club participants is to log at least 100 species in at least 100 counties. There's no time limit and lists can be combined over different periods. And you don't have to stop there. Feel free to keep exploring!
To participate:
- Log your sightings into eBird or log system of your choice.
- Visit the Century Club site to submit your stats.
- Members are eligible to earn TOS Century Club milestone pins for 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200, and 254 counties.
- Plaques awarded to TOS members who reach 100 species in 100 counties.
If you use eBird then county totals update automatically, making it really easy to know your status in each county. The Texas Century Club website explains how to get your records into eBird.
